Ali Mercier is our first HCP “graduate” who returned in a teaching role and has now become the full time Director. Ali has extensive preschool teaching experience. She did her schooling for both her teaching and director certificate at Mass Bay Community College. Ali’s 3 children (Mackenzie, Kayla and Matthew) are all HCP graduates. She and her family (including husband Matthew) live in Holliston.
Rebekah has a B.A. in Elementary Education from Eastern University. She also completed a certificate program in special education. Rebekah taught at the elementary and middle school level before discovering her passion for preschoolers. Rebekah has preschool experience and is excited to be on staff at HCP! Rebekah and her husband, Sean, live in Walpole with their three daughters.
Sherie Anderson joined HCP in a teaching role in 2016. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training from Northeastern University. Sherie spent 15 years teaching children of all ages the joy of figure skating as a professional skating coach. After the birth of her second child she “retired” to enjoy staying at home with her children. Sherie then turned to volunteering in Faith’s Children’s Ministry. Five years later, she combined her love of children and spreading God’s word by teaching at HCP. Sherie and her husband, Stephen, live in Hopkinton with their two boys. John and Lucas are both graduates of HCP.
Yucchabelle Cote joined the staff of HCP when her daughter Daisy started attending in 2017. She holds a B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Child Psychology from UMass Amherst, where involvement in Campus Crusade for Christ was the start of a deeper faith for her. She has continued studies in education via Becker College and Liberty University. Yucchabelle has enjoyed working with children in various capacities for over 20 years. She enjoys music, cooking, handcrafts such as sewing and crochet, hiking, and spending time with Daisy and her husband, Ken. They live in Ashland.
Laurel graduated with a B.A. in Biology from Western Connecticut State University. Before diving into working with young children, she worked in a hospital laboratory.
While she raised her six children, she volunteered in their Sunday school classes and preschool classes and also homeschooled her youngest for five years. Laurel also worked at Little Lambs Preschool in Medway for a short time. She lives with her family in Hopedale.
Laura has a B.A. in Professional Communications with a minor in psychology from Framingham State University as well as an Associates Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University (specializing in cakes). Laura worked for five years at Kidsborough, a before and after school care program for K-5 with a Kindergarten wrap around, before choosing to be a stay at home mom. She also has 10+ years experience as a bridal consultant. Laura and her husband Bryan live in Mendon with their three boys, Cormack, Corbin and Conlan, who are all HCP graduates.
Melissa has a B.A. degree in political science from Wellesley College and a Masters Degree in education from Harvard University. Melissa has taught at the elementary and high school levels. For over a decade, she was as a graduate student administrator at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she worked with graduate students and trained staff. She is excited to combine her love of art and art history with teaching at HCP. Melissa and her husband Pete live in Hopkinton and their twins Kyle and Amanda are HCP graduates.
Elizabeth has a B.A. in Psychology from Iona College and a Masters Degree from Teachers College at Columbia University. For several years she worked in Human Resources in the high tech industry. After her youngest child started school, Elizabeth entered the world of Early Childhood Education and never looked back! She received her lead teacher certification in 2014. Elizabeth is excited to be part of the HCP team and loves sharing God’s word with His precious little ones. She and her husband Mark have four children and live in Franklin.
“Mr. Jim”, has a B.A. degree in political science from Rollins College and a master’s degree in Education from Simmons College. Jim has extensive teaching experience, including Norwood Christian Preschool and Cornerstone Christian Academy, before joining the HCP staff in 2012. Jim and his wife, Sharon, live in Medway with their teenage son, Ryan.
Dennie has always had a calling for working with children. She graduated from Assumption College with an undergraduate degree in psychology and minors in sociology and education. Dennie obtained her Masters in Education and worked as a public school teacher in Wellesley, Natick, and Westborough. She took a break from teaching to raise her three children. She joined the HPC team in 2017. Dennie and her husband Brad, along with their 3 children (Sean, Bridget, and Isabel), live in Hopkinton.
